Hodge Hill officers have seized a total of 9 vehicles this week, 4 from St Margarets Avenue for no valid road tax, 2 for no insurance from Bromford Drive, 2 from Common Lane for no valid road tax and 1 from Asquith Road for suspected stolen. Officers have conducted proactive patrols in problematic Anti Social Behaviour hotspots across the ward with the aim of engaging with offenders and taking positive police action. These locations have included Fox and Goose, Coleshill Road, Bromford Drive, Papyrus Way, Washwood Heath Road, Old Bromford Lane, St Margarets Avenue, Church Walk. The officers have conducted 3 arrests for the following, Theft, Failure to provide at the roadside and 1 for possesion of Class B drugs. PCSO'S have conducted Speed watches in the following locations, Coleshill Road and Common Lane these have been conducted as the local community have raised issues in regards to speeding vehicles in these locations. School parking patrols have been conducted at the following schools, Hodge Hill College, Hodge Hill all girls school and Hodge Hill primary school. Tickets have been issued to any vehicle that has been parked illegally. PCSO'S have conducted a Junior PCSO input at Leigh Primary School where we conducted some inputs in regards to Bullying and online safety. |
