CCTV Appeal & Resident Awareness – Moped Robberies

We are appealing for any CCTV footage and asking residents to remain vigilant following two linked incidents involving a group of 4–6 males targeting a moped.

The first incident occurred on 12 June at approximately 21:30hrs on Merbury Close, where the group was seen attempting to steal/robbing a moped.

A second incident took place in the early hours of 13 June at approximately 01:15hrs on Princess Alice Way, involving what is believed to be the same group.

We are requesting that residents, businesses, and anyone with CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage covering these times and locations review their recordings and report anything suspicious or relevant.

Please also remain alert and report any suspicious activity, particularly groups of young males acting suspiciously around parked mopeds or motorcycles.
