Anti-Social Vehicle Seizure

🚨 Section 59 Seizure – Joss Bay Car Park 🚨 

On Friday 12th June 2026, officers responded to concerns about vehicles drifting in Joss Bay car park during the evening.

Upon arrival, officers identified a vehicle being used in an anti‑social manner and seized it under Section 59 Police Reform Act 2002. Officers can seize under this act when a vehicle is driving in an anti-social manner. Several members of the public present were spoken to, and appropriate advice was given.

We continue to work closely with the community to keep our coastal areas safe and enjoyable for everyone. Anti‑social driving puts lives at risk and will not be tolerated.
