City Centre Update

Today in the city centre, officers have made an arrest of a male for outstanding warrants.

We have also dealt with a youth involved in shoplifting offences. Safeguarding measures are being put in place, with ongoing support and referrals to partner agencies to help address underlying issues and prevent further offending.

In addition, we have continued our engagement around cyclists using pedestrianised zones, focusing on education and awareness. This will continue in the short term before we move towards a more robust enforcement phase.
