Wednesday 10th JUNE 2026- TOLWORTH WARD PANEL MEETING
People in attendance: 2 POLICE COMMUNITY SUPPORT OFFICERS ( PCSO MAJOR AND PCSO RANA) 1 COUNCILLOR 8 RESIDENTS (including chair)
Action points from last meeting were spoken about, which were: ROYSTON COURT ASB- PCSO MAJOR explained that the male that has been causing the large amounts of anti-social behaviour, is in the process of being evicted, and therefore will no longer cause further issues in this area.
Parking on Red route on FULLERS WAY NORTH- PCSO RANA explained that the red routes are now being managed buy an external company that have been hired by TFL. However, when Officers are patrolling, they will move these vehicles on.
Patrolling of LADYWOOD ROAD and ELLERTON ROAD- PCSO MAJOR explained that these areas are being patrolled, however Officers have been busy at other locations. Namely, VERONA DRIVE and SCHOOL LANE. This has been due to reports of drug activity happening.
Speak to Councillors regarding CCTV at SWALLOW PARK- Councillor Thay will chase PCSO MAJOR’s request for this. It was previously spoken about that the CCTV was a go at location.
PCSO MAJOR then spoken about CRIME STATS. He shared that since last quarter “VEHICLE CRIME” had decreased by one third. It was shared that there is a new suspect going around checking car door handles of vehicles. 19 reports made
It was shared to the panel that “BURGLARY”, including attempted and also Business Burglary was also lower, at 4 reports. After looking deeper into the reports, there was only one BURGLARY of a home, and this happened inside an HMO on CRANBOURNE AVENUE for screw drivers. The other BURGLARY was created by mistake and was actually a “PARCEL THEFT”. There was an attempted Burglary at FULLERS AVENUE, but the suspect could not gain entry to the property. There was one Burglary of a business, which was the CO-OP on ELLERTON. This report should have been reported/created as shoplifting.
Stats for “DRUGS” related crimes was also lower at 4 reports, compared to 8 last quarter. However, Officers are fully aware of drug activity that has been happening and have created INTEL REPORTS for this. These reports have mainly been for NOS cannisters.
Residents then shared below to us:
A Resident shared that there is many HMO’s appearing on LARGEWOOD AVENUE, this is a concern due to the ASB type reports that are made to Police from these types of addresses.
Another resident shared that on BROOK ROAD there has been potential drug activity in the area. Police have advised that they will patrol along this road.
A resident that lives locally to the CO-OP on ELLERTON road has also shared that there has been some ASB type activity at that location. Police have advised that they will spend more time in that specific area.
Another shared that there is still an ongoing issue regarding street drinking on the TOLWORTH BROADWAY. Officers have targeted some of these individuals and have handed warning notices to them to deter this type of behaviour.
PCSO MAJOR then spoke about ward promises for next ward panel meeting. Discussed was: TOLWORTH BROADWAY, (INCLUDING BROADOAKS) Patrol near the CO-OP on ELLERTON ROAD to tackle ASB and crime. Patrols on LARGEWOOD AVENUE due to ASB type behaviour
WARD PRIORITIES WILL REMAIN AS: BURGLARY, VEHICLE CRIME AND DRUG RELATED CRIME
NEXT DATE FOR WARD PANEL MEETING WILL BE ARRANGED AND SHARED SHORTLY
Kindest regards
