Online Safety

Earlier this week, I (PC Harriet) have been in one of our local schools speaking about the importance of online safety with Yr5 students. It was a great opportunity to educate and inform as well as answer lots of really fantastic questions from the children. With social media and the internet being such a huge part of growing up in this day and age it is important for us to engage with the youth to keep them safe. 

The recent government anouncement regarding banning social media for children will likely change the landscape. Online safety is a topic that the Perry Vale SNT have been working with schools on for many years, and we look forward to continuing this work in this ever changing landscape.
