Vehicle crime

Good afternoon,

Overnight, multiple vehicles were broken in to in the area of Hollingreave Road/Emily Street.

Unfortunately, I am unable to provide any more information, as none of these incidents have been reported to police, only limited details posted on social media. 

As the Neighbourhood Policing Team, we can notify our overnight response officers of crime hot spots and they can use their downtime more effectively to conduct more targeted patrols. Without reports, we can not evidence the need for targeted patrols.

Reports also allow for the Neighbourhood department to search for CCTV more effectively.

We would encourage any victims of vehicle interference/theft from vehicles to ring 101 and make a report.

In the mean time, if you are aware of any information/addresses effected, please reply to this email in order to assist with our house to house/CCTV enquiries.

Please ensure that all vehicles are locked and secure overnight, with valuables removed.
