Just a quick and friendly note to keep our lovely Eastcote streets as calm and cheerful as ever 😊

There have been a few sightings of so‑called “Nottingham Knockers” in the wider area. Despite sounding like a niche Morris dancing troupe, they’re actually door‑to‑door sellers (often with items to sell with a dose of persistence).

While some may seem polite, it’s always best to be a bit cautious:

Most importantly — no need for alarm or worry at all. Just a gentle reminder to stay aware and look out for one another, as we always do.

Stay safe, stay neighbourly, and if anyone does try to sell you a lifetime supply of dusters… maybe check you actually need them first 😉
