Dear Resident

Our PCSOs play a vital role in offering a reassuring presence to the public - helping to fight crime and anti-social behaviour and forge stronger relationships with the community.

They work within Neighbourhood Policing Teams (NPTs) to improve the quality of life for residents and make their area safer, by proactively tackling crime and anti-social behaviour (ASB).

Over the past couple of days, PCSOs Brown and Waller have been out and about in #Berkhamsted and #Tring.

Alongside their patrols, the pair held stalls in both High Streets, to meet residents, provide a visible presence, discuss any local issues and give crime prevention advice.

Alongside the NPT, Dacorum is also policed by Response officers who respond to emergency calls, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) which investigates crimes such as burglary, robbery and assault, and specialist units who work to tackle issues such as acquisitive crime and domestic abuse.
