Community Safety Presence in Broadstairs

☀️ Sun’s out and so are your Community Safety Officers! 👮‍♂️👮‍♀️

Yesterday we were out in Broadstairs, visiting some of the local businesses 🏪 and chatting with members of the public — whether you’re out for a walk 🚶‍♂️ or enjoying a coffee ☕, it has been great to see so many of you!

Whilst on patrol, we’ve also been promoting My Community Voice 📢 and helping people sign up.

Broadstairs is just one of the areas we’ll be working across in Thanet this weekend, especially with the high temperatures expected 🌡️ — so you’ll continue to see us out and about.

A Section 34 Dispersal Order has been implemented in Broadstairs as a proactive measure to tackle ongoing anti-social behaviour (ASB) affecting the local community. The dispersal powers allow officers to direct individuals involved in, or likely to be involved in ASB, to leave the designated area for a specified period, allowing us to keep Thanet an enjoyable place for all!
