Vehicle Theft – Edgeworth Close, Church Hill

Dear Residents of Church Hill,

We would like to make residents aware of two recent vehicle thefts that have occurred on Edgeworth Close, Church Hill, over the past 3 days.

Both vehicles stolen were Ford Fiestas, and the incidents are believed to have taken place during the night.

We are carrying out enquiries and increasing patrols in the area. We would also like to remind residents to remain vigilant and take steps to help protect their vehicles.

Crime Prevention Advice:

Always lock your vehicle and ensure windows are fully closed.

Consider using additional security devices, such as:

Steering wheel locks
Pedal locks
Vehicle trackers

Avoid leaving keys near doors or windows, particularly if you have keyless entry vehicles.

Use a Faraday pouch to block keyless car signals.

Park in a well-lit area or, if possible, on a driveway and consider installing CCTV.

Remove all valuables from your vehicle and do not leave items on display.
