Thank you all for your support at today's online AGM. The Chairman's report was sent to you beforehand, and please find the Treasurer's report here, as an attachment. The online meeting was joined by James, Deryck, Reece and Vinny. Here is a abridged version of points raised during the AGM: Signage Angie reminded us to seek permission from EoN when erecting NW signage. Deryck got his parish council to erect NW signs. Empty laughing gas canisters at Calf Heath reservoir James was concerned by the large empty gas canisters he finds at Calf Heath reservoir. Geraint will raise this with Ben Adams the Commissioner. This is a potential danger, as these empty laughing gas canisters are so close to the water's edge. He asked could a CCTV camera be erected in the vicinity? Angie told us about the Staffordshire Police problem-solving team, and how they've tackled balaclava-wearing youths on (motor ?) bikes in the Leek area. Dave suggested we invite members to a monthly meeting to share NW concerns and practices. Penkridge Louise gave an account of how she and a PCSO have been calling on Penkridge residents, and recruiting them to join NW. The build up relationship with the PCSO has resulted in much quicker responses to local policing concerns. Regards, |
