SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT

Dear resident,

Please be advised that a report had been made around an unknown male claiming to be working for EE, attending at properties within the PORT TENNANT area. The male has discussed broadband speed and how residents would benefit by changing to EE - he has requested contact details and later bank details.

NEVER provide bank details to any persons you do not know - these details should be kept confidential.

The below crime prevention tips may be useful:

Display a ‘No Cold Calling’ sign on your door.

Ask for identification should any person you do not know attend at your property.

Install a Doorbell Camera to enable the ability to see who is at the door prior to opening.

Never provide bank details or purchase goods on the doorstep.

Report any suspicious circumstances to 101 or 999 in an emergency.
