Here’s a quick roundup from your local policing team of some of the work we have been doing over the couple of weeks in the Birchills & Leamore Ward from your Designated Neighbourhood Police officer PC Rowberry- Numerous positive arrests have been made at the Reedswood Retail Park to combat shoplifting.High visibility patrols have been conducted around numerous area such as Shropshire Close due to issues of fly tipping. Police are working with the council to resolve this issue.The local policing team have had meetings with the local community at St. Chads Church.Furthermore Cuppa with a Copper has been held at Sainsburys in Reedswood to liaise with the community.Upcoming events: Cuppa with a copper - 11:00AM - 12:00PM, Sat 04 July 2026 - Starbucks' Sainsbury's Reedswood Retail ParkPlease check The West Midlands Police website for all upcoming events in your area. General Advise Around Burglary and Domestic Violence- Ensure your doors are locked when you are not present in your house and if you have the option of fitting CCTV or a camera that records this can help as a deterrent for crime and helpful with evidence gathering if the worst case happens.
