We have been listening to concerns raised by the local community and taking action to address the issues affecting you: 🚗 You said: Nuisance vehicles (e-scooters & e-bikes) Following recent concerns raised regarding nuisance use of e-scooters and e-bikes, I have carried out a number of targeted operations across the area to address the issue. These proactive patrols have resulted in multiple seizures of illegally used e-scooters and e-bikes, helping to reduce anti-social behaviour and improve public safety. On 06/06/26, as part of a coordinated day of action aligned with National E-Scooter Day, I worked alongside the Roads Policing Unit and Immigration Enforcement in Gravesend town centre. High-visibility foot patrols were conducted, during which several individuals were stopped and multiple e-scooters seized for offences relating to illegal use. Further enforcement activity was carried out on 12/06/26, with officers from Gravesend Community Safety Unit and Special Constabulary conducting targeted patrols across multiple beats. 🚨 GRAVESHAM – NUISANCE VEHICLES – SEIZED 🚔 These operations will continue, and we remain committed to tackling nuisance vehicles and ensuring our roads and public spaces are safe for everyone. 💊 You said: Drug dealing ✅ We did: Officers have been proactively engaging with the community and utilising stop and search powers where lawful grounds exist. These actions help to disrupt the supply of drugs, deter those involved in criminal activity, and provide reassurance to residents. We will continue to focus on intelligence-led patrols and enforcement activity to tackle drug-related issues and keep the area safe. ⚠️ You said: Anti-social behaviour ✅ We did: Working proactively, we have issued a total of eight Acceptable Behaviour Agreements (ABAs) in conjunction with Kent Police. In addition, several individuals have also been served Community Protection Warnings (CPWs). These measures place clear restrictions on behaviour and provide a framework for enforcement should issues continue. As part of these agreements, conditions have been imposed preventing those involved from entering Gravesend town centre, directly addressing the areas most affected by the reported behaviour. These actions are already helping to reduce incidents and improve the environment for residents, businesses, and visitors. We will continue to monitor those involved and take further action where necessary to ensure the community remains safe and welcoming. We will continue to act on the concerns you raise. Please keep engaging with us by replying to our posts, reporting issues, and sharing information so we can focus on what matters most to you 🤝 | ||
