We have all been looking forward to the summer with great enthusiasm; however, the last few days have proven quite challenging due to the heat. I must admit that I have personally found it difficult at times to cope with the strong sun and humidity whilst on foot patrol.

Today is expected to be the hottest day so far, so please take extra care. Ensure you stay well hydrated, avoid going out during peak heat hours where possible, and take particular care with all dogs when outdoors.
