Stevenage man arrested in relation to drug offence

A man has been arrested following a drugs warrant in Stevenage.

Officers from the Stevenage Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) carried out the operation at a property in Barnwell on Tuesday (23 June) during which mobile phones and drug paraphernalia were seized.

The man, aged in his 40s, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in supplying controlled drugs.

PC Courtney Kooistra, of the Stevenage NPT, said: “If you have concerns about drugs in your area please don’t hesitate to report it. 

“The more information we receive, the better our intelligence picture and this allows us to execute warrants like this.”
