Community Update – Snibstone Discovery Park

Good afternoon residents.

This week, I visited Snibstone Discovery Park and spent time speaking with the park rangers. It really is a fantastic space for the whole community — whether you’re bringing children to play safely, walking the dog, cycling, fishing, or simply relaxing and enjoying the local wildlife.

In the recent warm weather, the on-site coffee shop was a very welcome stop for an iced coffee! 

However, it’s disappointing that a minority continue to spoil the area for others by taking motorbikes into the park, which is not permitted and can cause damage and safety concerns.

On that note…

Are you missing a motorbike?
While out on patrol late one evening, PC 1189 and PC 128 disturbed an individual riding a motorbike within the area. The rider made off into the darkness, abandoning the bike at the scene.

If you believe this may be your vehicle, it can be recovered from our local recovery depot — proof of ownership will be required.
