Partnership Pedicab Deployment The Lyceum Theatre

On Wednesday the 24th of June, St James DWO's along with Westminster City Council and Transport for London (TFL) conducted 

a Pedicab Deployment at The Lyceum Theatre (Lion King) aiming to target Pedicabs causing ASB. 

The aim of the Deployment was to speak and target Pedicab's that have continually been seen blocking cycle highways and pedestrian walkways whilst members of the public exit the theatre. The Police and Westminster City Inspectors set upon speaking to those by using Public Space Protection Order Legislation that is now in force in Westminster. This was done by uniformed and plain clothed foot patrols.  

The results from the Deployment were as followed

- Six Fixed Penalty Notices for breach of the Public Space Protection Order

- Five Community Protection Warnings

- One Community Protection Notice

- Four positive engagements
