Collision in Saxmundham |
||
|
Police are appealing for witnesses after collision took place in Saxmundham.
It occurred on Friday 5th June at around 8:40am and involved a small red vehicle.
A mother and her young child were on the footpath along the Main Road, near to the doctors surgery, with the child being pushed in a buggy. The child fell out of the buggy and into the carriageway where a passing small red vehicle collided with the child causing serious injuries.
At this time the driver and vehicle are unidentified, and police are keen to speak with anyone who may have seen the vehicle and/or the collision or driver.
There was also a possible witness who stopped to help but left the area before details could be taken. Officers are keen to trace this person and would ask they make contact.
