Extreme Weather Advisory – High Temperatures

Dear Residents ,

With temperatures expected to exceed 30°C, please take extra care during this period of extreme heat.

To stay safe:

Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated

Avoid being outdoors during the hottest part of the day (11am–3pm)

Wear light, loose-fitting clothing and use sunscreen

Keep your home cool by closing curtains/blinds during the day

Check on elderly neighbours, vulnerable individuals, and young children

Never leave children or pets in parked vehicles

If you feel unwell (dizziness, headache, nausea), move to a cool place, rest, and seek medical assistance if needed.
