Hello, and welcome to your round up from the St Matthew’s Neighbourhood Policing Team, part of Walsall’s Local Policing Area (LPA). Keeping the different communities in St Matthew’s informed of some of the activities that we have done recently.
Some things that we have been doing on our patch recently: A number of speed watches have been conducted on Highgate Road and Birmingham Road.
During the last week your local neighbourhood have conducted a number of community engagements which included giving crime prevention advice and giving out a few basic preventative items. Officers have also conducted foot patrols and vehicle patrols, and a number of arrests have been made.
Multiple stop searches have been conducted this week. Also various positive outcomes and drugs have been seized.
Going forward: We are committed to continue meeting with the various communities in St Matthew’s as part of proactive working. We know there are a lot of different community groups within St Matthew’s, if you know of any, who you think would like a visit or chat, please get in touch, it’ll be great to see and hear from you.
