Update for Coordinators |
||
|
Dear Coordinators,
I hope this message finds you well.
This message is to introduce myself; I am a recently appointed Membership Support Administrator for the West Mercia Neighbourhood Watch Force Area Association. I am, like you, a volunteer.
As you will have seen from messages that Cheryl Spruce, Neighbourhood Watch Network’s Head of Membership and Community Engagement, has sent you, several online information events have been held regarding the Force Area Association and that we are seeking volunteers.
Simplified, National Neighbourhood Watch is divided into Force Area Associations that supports the many Neighbourhood Watch Groups in the Force Area. Sometimes, District Associations are formed to be a link between the Neighbourhood Watch Group and the Force Area Association and to provide more localised support.
The current structure of support that Neighbourhood Watch Groups in the West Mercia Area needs enhancing, and so we need volunteers to join the Force Area and, eventually, District Associations.
The Force Area & District Association require positive thinking members that can engage & support proactively with local groups and develop good relations with local Safer Neighbourhood Teams and other stakeholders
Cheryl will be organising some more online information events, these are likely to be in September. Do join these events, you will receive an invitation nearer the meeting date and please extend the invitation to members of your Neighbourhood Watch Group.
We are hoping from these information events various teams can be formed.
If you would like to discuss before then, drop me an email and we can arrange a convenient time for me to give you a phone call or a brief Zoom meeting.
Kind regards,
Conrad | ||
