Extreme Weather Advisory – What NOT To Do

Dear Residents,

Due to the current extreme heat, please take note of the following important safety advice.

Please DO NOT:

❌ Do not leave children, elderly persons, or pets in parked vehicles under any circumstances

❌ Do not spend prolonged periods in direct sunlight, especially between 11am–3pm

❌ Do not ignore signs of heat exhaustion (dizziness, headache, nausea)

❌ Do not consume excessive alcohol or caffeine, as this can lead to dehydration

❌ Do not undertake strenuous physical activity during peak heat hours

❌ Do not leave windows wide open unattended where this could pose a security risk

If you feel unwell, move to a cooler area, hydrate, and seek medical assistance if required.

Please also check on vulnerable neighbours and help keep your community safe.
