Car Crime Event Henley Road

Neighbourhood PCSO's held a community engagement event on Henley Road that focused on preventing vehicle crime and raising awareness of simple measures the public can take to protect their vehicles. PCSO's spoke with residents about current vehicle trends, including theft from motor vehicle and theft of motor vehicles.

Crime prevention advice was provided including

Lock vehicles and ensure windows are fully closed.

Remove valuables from sight or take them with you

Use steering wheel locks or approved security devices

Store keyless car keys in a signal blocking pouch and away from doors and windows

Report suspicious activity promptly by calling 101 or 999 in an emergency
