🚔 Prolific Shoplifter Charged and Remanded - Team 2

Following ongoing work to tackle retail crime and support local businesses, a male responsible for a significant number of shop thefts across the area has now been charged with 14 offences.

The male has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Manchester & Salford Magistrates' Court.

This result demonstrates our commitment to targeting prolific offenders and taking positive action against those who cause harm to local businesses and communities.

Sergeant Ditta said: "Retail crime has a significant impact on businesses, staff and the wider community. We will continue to work proactively to identify and pursue those responsible for repeat offending and ensure they are brought before the courts.
