🚓 Bike Seized 🚓

A boy has been arrested and an off-road bike has been seized in Newcastle-under-Lyme. 

At around 9.45pm on Thursday 25 June 2026, officers saw on off-road bike being driven dangerously on Moran Road. 

Following a search of an address nearby, officers seized an off-road bike. 

A 16-year-old boy, from Newcastle-under-Lyme, has been arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, driving without due care and attention, driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance. 

Chief Inspector Cliff Goodwin, of the Newcastle-under-Lyme local policing team, said: “I hope this action shows that we are listening and acting upon residents concerns and I would urge anyone who knows where off-road bikes are being kept to contact us.”
