I wanted to provide an update regarding Mobile phone theft, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey. 📢 Muswell Hill SNT Crime Update
Dear Residents, I hope you are well. Please find below a summary of reported incidents within the Muswell Hill area between 21 June 2026 and 26 June 2026.
🔹 Common Assault – Muswell Hill Broadway A suspect pushed and attempted to punch a member of the public who intervened during a theft. 🏢 Attempted Burglary (Business & Community) – Muswell Hill Broadway Four male suspects attempted to force entry into a premises, causing damage to the door in the process. 🏠 Residential Burglary – Muswell Hill Road A suspect entered a room within an HMO property through an unsecured door and stole items from inside. 🔨 Criminal Damage – Muswell Hill Under investigation. ⚠️ Racially/Religiously Aggravated Criminal Damage – Fortis Green Road Under investigation. 🚔 Rape of a Female (Domestic-Related) Under investigation. A suspect has been arrested. 💷 Business Robbery x2 – Muswell Hill Broadway Under investigation. 🗣️ Section 4A Public Order Act – Queens Avenue Under investigation. 🗣️ Section 4A Public Order Act – Muswell Hill Under investigation. 🚗 Theft from Motor Vehicle – St James Lane The victim parked their vehicle between 08:35 hrs and 08:45 hrs and later discovered that items had been stolen from inside. 🛒 Shop Theft – Muswell Hill Broadway A suspect stole a sandwich from a retail premises. 🛒 Shop Theft – Muswell Hill Broadway A suspect stole sports supplements valued at approximately £130. 📱 Theft from Person – Grosvenor Gardens Under investigation. 📱 Theft from Person – Alexandra Park The victim was using their mobile phone near the Little Dinosaurs Café when an unknown suspect snatched the device from their hand and made off. 👜 Theft Other – Muswell Hill Broadway A victim's handbag was stolen whilst waiting outside a shop. ⚡ Threats to Kill – Muswell Hill Broadway Under investigation.
