Dear Residents,

Colham & Cowley Safer Neighbourhood Team would like to inform residents that on Friday 3rd JULY 2026, officers will be providing community engagement meeting point: Cowley Recreation Ground outside THEO'S CAFE between 15:00 and 16:00

The engagement will focus on raising awareness of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). Officers will be available to speak with residents, share crime prevention advice, and provide information to help promote personal safety, build confidence, and encourage reporting of any concerns.

We will also highlight:

The importance of early reporting

Ways to access support services

The role of the community in helping us identify perpetrators, safeguard vulnerable individuals, and reduce harm

We encourage residents to stop by, ask questions, and engage with their local officers. Your support and partnership are vital in helping women and girls feel safer in our community.
