Burglary Alert - Cottingham Drive

Good afternoon residents.

Unfortunately, we have had a report of a Burglary at an address on Cottingham Drive

The burglary has occurred between June 4th and June 17th.

The victim has been away and on returning to their home address they have discovered that the front door lock has been snapped, the front door was also left open.

 They have discovered that 3 x games consoles with games and some prescribed medications have been stolen. 

If you are leaving your property unattended, going on holiday for example please try and take steps to ensure your property is secure. Do not advertise that you are going away on social media etc and if possible, have a family member or neighbour keep checking the address. Also consider the use of light timers or “smart” lighting that can be programmed to turn on and off at specific times.

 Please be mindful and report any suspicious activity. If you have an alarm, please make sure it is set when you leave your property. Please also ensure all doors windows are locked.
