We’re part of a national effort to tackle antisocial behaviour |

Dear Resident, Everyone deserves to feel safe where they live, work and spend their free time. Antisocial behaviour (ASB) West Midlands Police is backing a national effort to tackle rising antisocial behaviour during ASB Awareness Week 2026. We are proud to stand with organisations across the UK in support of ASB Awareness Week 2026, a national campaign running from 29 June to 5 July 2026, which shines a spotlight on the impact of antisocial behaviour and promotes safer communities. Led by Resolve, the UK’s leading community safety partner and ASB, the week is backed by Resolve members, HM Government, the Local Government Association, and national partners including the National Police Chiefs’ Council, National Fire Chiefs’ Council, Historic England, Neighbourhood Watch, the Premier League Charitable Fund, the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners and others. We are marking ASB Awareness Week 2026 by highlighting some of the key problem-solving activity we are doing with partners. This includes extra patrols in known hot spots areas, working with partners to reduce crime in our city centres, school workshops and community meetings. These activities underline our commitment to tackling ASB, empowering local people, and improving confidence in reporting and support. Superintendent Simon Inglis, ASB lead for the force, commented, “Antisocial behaviour can have a significant impact on people’s lives and communities. “During ASB Awareness Week, we’re reaffirming our commitment to tackling it wherever and whenever it occurs across the West Midlands. Our Antisocial Behaviour Action Plan sets out how we’ll support victims, target offenders, work with partners and use every available power to make our neighbourhoods safer. “While incidents of ASB are falling, we know there’s more to do, and we’re committed to working every day to prevent harm, build safer communities and ensure the public remain at the heart of everything we do.” #Watch more here. You can read our 10-point ASB plan here. If you are affected by antisocial behaviour, you can report it to us via 101, online, or by speaking to your local police team.
