Good Evening Residents, hope your all keeping well and enjoying the cooler weather, I know its very much welcomed for us or for anyone else working outdoors wearing uniform.

✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅

The last week for our policing team has been particularly busy, with hot weather and the ongoing World Cup games - please be careful when travelling and drink sensibly.

Brownhills Ward

Attended the Avenues Community Hub, Brownhills to speak with committee members and Wotmos Housing about ongoing issues on the estate.

Officers attended a sink hole on the high street which caused a lot of traffic conjestion and work is still ongoing so diversions are still in place.

x3 voluntary interviews was carried out with youths at Bloxwich Police Station for causing criminal damage.

A closure order was given at well known drug spot location.

A male offender was arrested for serious assault.

Many youths have been visited in relation to ASB and some taken back to their parents, this is ongoing and police are continuing with our investigations.

Ongoing ASB patrols around Brownhills, Avenues, Ogley Rd Derelict building.

Pelsall Ward

A stolen vehicle was recovered officers.

ASB patrols have been conducted and patrols along McClean way continue re: off road bikes.

Rushall Shelfield Ward

A stolen vehicle was recovered by officers.

An abandoned vehicle was recovered by officers.

Event Name: Police Surgery The Avenues Community Hub.

Date/Time: Friday 3rd July 2026 from 11.00-12.00hrs.
Location: 10-11 Avenues, Brownhills, WS8 6JJ.
Details: To discuss ongoing issues ASB/Criminal Damage on the estate.

Councillors Surgery Pelsall Village Centre

Date/Time: Saturday 4th July 2026 from 10.00-12.00hrs

Location: Pelsall Village Centre, High Street, Pelsall.

Details: Police are in attendance for any issues/concerns wish to raise.

Be cautious of unexpected callers offering home repairs, gardening, cleaning or asking for money. Genuine traders wont pressure you into making an immediate decision.

Always ask for ID

Never feel pressured to open the door or agree to any work.

Dont hand over cash or bank details to strangers.

If in doubt, keep door closed and contact a trusted friend or family member.

✅ Crime Prevention Tips:

With the warm weather, its tempting to leave your windows and doors open. Before heading out, make sure you lock all windows and doors securely locked , even if your only gone for a short time. Dont leave valuables on display, and ask a trusted neighbour to keep an eye on your property if your away. The same goes for vehicle windows, please ensure they are all closed as tempting as it is to leave open in the hot weather.

Enjoy the sunshine, but keep your home and vehicle secure.
