The vehicle was stopped and checks revealed the driver was uninsured and only held a provisional licence, with no qualified UK licence holder supervising. The driver was reported for the offences. 👮🏼 Joint Operation with Trading Standards PCSO 6571, PC Stewart, and PC Carpenter worked alongside Trading Standards conducting store inspections within the beat area. Over 1,000 illegal vapes were seized, along with a makeshift baton. 🚗 Drink and Drug Driving Arrest PC Wilson and PC Carpenter stopped a vehicle after it raised suspicion shortly after leaving the station. The driver tested over the drink-drive limit and also failed a roadside drugs test, resulting in arrest. The passenger was also found to be under the influence, and Class B drugs were located in her possession. 🧑🚒 Multi-Agency Incident – Haymarket Bus Station PCSO Becs led a multi-agency response after a lorry collided with a wall at the Haymarket Bus Station. Due to concerns regarding structural safety, the fire service attended to assist. ⚽ Football Operation Support Officers from the team supported the City Response Team during policing operations for the England football match. 🏎️ Dangerous Driving – City Centre Whilst monitoring CCTV during the night-time economy, PC Procter identified a vehicle being driven at speed along Granby Street and Belvoir Street.
