I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Woodside SNT have been made aware of public safety concerns around South Norwood Country Park, we want to reassure the ward that we are very aware of this and are actively tackling this with frequent patrols and engagement with residents at the park. We are treating this with a high immediate priority on the ward and will be frequently patrolling all parks on the beat, the park should be a safe space for all and should not become a place where residents feel scared to use.
