ASB Awareness Week |
||
|
Tuesday 30th June 2026
As part of National Anti-Social Behaviour awareness week, St James SNT have been busy with Westminster City Council on ASB patrols. Today SNT were in Victoria alongside partners from the Council and security from Cardinal Place to tackle street based anti-social behaviour. This included enforcement of the ASB, Controlled Drinking and Pedicab Public Space Protection Orders. The team engaged with local business as well as members of the public regarding concerns over ongoing issues.
This was a successful deployment with one arrest and a community resolution for shoplifting. A community protection warning was issued for begging. The team conducted two weapons sweeps in the area. Patrols such as this are a great opportunity for the public to engage with police and council. The team provided crime prevention advice to three local businesses and had twenty five engagements with members of the public, referring two individuals to relevant services.
Keep an eye out for the team across the ward this week as ASB patrols continue!
