🚔 Anti-Social Vehicle Update – Positive Action Taken 🚔 |
||
|
Following reports from members of the public regarding vehicles being driven in an anti-social manner across the local area, officers have taken positive action.
PCSO Alem provided witnesses with a Community Request link, allowing video evidence to be submitted directly to police. After reviewing the footage, PCSO Baker and PCSO Alem identified three vehicles being used in a manner causing alarm, distress and annoyance to members of the public and other road users.
As a result of our enquiries: ✅ All three vehicles and drivers were identified. ✅ Two drivers were issued with Section 59 Warnings under the Police Reform Act 2002. ✅ These warnings apply to both the driver and vehicle for 12 months. ✅ Drivers were advised that any further anti-social use may result in the vehicle being seized. ✅ A third driver was issued with an Anti-Social Behaviour Vehicle Nuisance Warning and advised regarding further enforcement action should the behaviour continue.
We would like to thank residents for taking the time to report incidents and provide evidence. Your information enables us to identify offenders and take appropriate action.
If you continue to experience issues with anti-social driving, vehicle nuisance, excessive exhaust noise, dangerous driving or similar behaviour, please report it and provide any available evidence.
Together, we can keep our neighbourhoods safe and enjoyable for everyone. | ||
