Tickets issued during targeted patrols

Dear Resident,

Following concerns raised about illegal and obstructive parking in Westwood and West Town, one of our PCSOs has been carrying out patrols in the area.

During these patrols, three parking tickets were issued:

Two vehicles in Percival Street were ticketed for parking in a way that could obstruct emergency services if access was needed.

One vehicle in Deene Court was issued a ticket after being parked on the pavement, putting pedestrians at risk by forcing them into the road.

While this may not seem like a significant issue to some, it is a concern that has been raised by local residents, and we will continue to respond to these reports.
