Environmental Audit (Forest Ridge) |
||
|
Dear Residents,
On 30 June 2026, officers from the Kelsey & Eden Park Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out an Environmental Audit of Forest Ridge to identify environmental issues that may impact community safety, neighbourhood appearance, and residents' quality of life.
Environmental audits are an important tool in helping the Police and Council understand how the local environment can influence crime, anti-social behaviour, and residents' perceptions of safety. During the audit, officers reviewed a range of issues including overgrown vegetation, street lighting, visibility along walkways, fly-tipping, graffiti, litter, and locations that may benefit from environmental improvements.
The findings from the audit will be shared with relevant Council departments and partner agencies, where appropriate, so that any identified concerns can be investigated and addressed. By working together, we can help create safer, cleaner, and more welcoming neighbourhoods for everyone.
The Kelsey & Eden Park Safer Neighbourhood Team is keen to continue carrying out environmental audits across the ward and would like to hear from residents about other roads within Kelsey & Eden Park that they feel would benefit from a similar review.
If there is a road, pathway, open space, or particular location that you believe would benefit from an environmental audit, please let us know. Your local knowledge is invaluable in helping us identify areas of concern and prioritise future activity.
To suggest a location or raise any community safety or environmental concerns, please contact the Kelsey & Eden Park Safer Neighbourhood Team by Email: kelseyandedenparksnt@met.police.uk
Thank you for your continued support in helping to make Kelsey & Eden Park a safer and more pleasant place to live.
