Crime Alert - Theft of a Vehicle

Humberside Police are investigating a report of a Theft of a motor vehicle from Meredith Avenue.

The incident occurred between 2030hrs on 30th June 2026 and 0735hrs on 1st July 2026. The offender(s) have approached a Black Land Rover Discovery registration number CC10 NYX which was parked securely on the driveway and by unknown means have stolen the vehicle. Please keep an eye out for this and report any sightings on 101

If you have any CCTV footage (including video doorbell), saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or have any information about the offenders please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting occurrence ref: 26000090887

To reduce the risk of your vehicle being stolen, please read through the below advice -

Keep your vehicle locked at all times

Make sure your vehicle alarm is set if it has one.

Consider using a steering wheel lock, we recommend Secured by Design accredited products.

Don't leave your keys or fobs where they can be easily found.

If your vehicle has keyless entry, use a faraday pouch to prevent a relay theft.

Park your vehicle in a garage if you can, or in a secure location.

If you have CCTV, park your vehicle where it will be covered.
