On Tuesday afternoon, PC Lakin and PCSO Nugent have attended Brackensdale Primary where they spoke with the children in KS2 about Anti-Social Behaviour within the community.
They spoke through different examples of ASB, who is affected and how, and what the consequences could be should somebody commit ASB. They also touched on the importance of water safety when near open bodies of water like at Darley weir. 🏊🏻 🚒
Afterwards, they visited the Reception classes and spoke with them about how the police can help people and what their daily role is. They showed them the different pieces of kit that they carry both on their person, and what is stored in the police car. PC Lakin gave them a stinger demonstration, and the class teachers tried their hand with the enforcer (i.e. the big red key) with PC Lakin's support. 🔑
