Riverside Beat – Working Week Snapshot 🚓 It’s been another busy and productive week for the Riverside team, with officers and PCSOs out supporting the community, tackling issues and carrying out proactive policing across the area.
⚽ Match Day Policing The team assisted with policing the England fixture against DR Congo, helping ensure supporters could enjoy the occasion safely. Thankfully, Harry Kane and the Three Lions did their bit to make it an enjoyable event for everyone! 👮 Arrest Made Following Reported Assault PC Fabian arrested a male after he reportedly assaulted a member of the public and caused harassment, alarm and distress to staff at Leicester Royal Infirmary. He has since been released with conditions while investigations continue. 🚶♀️ Proactive Patrols & Intelligence Gathering PCSOs Hafsa, V and Jas have been out on patrol around Pavilion Close, engaging with residents and gathering valuable intelligence to help keep the area safe. 🤝 Supporting the Community The team attended St Andrews Play Association to assist with their food pantry, helping prepare and distribute food packages to local residents in need. 🌳 Summer Focus in Castle Gardens Officers carried out proactive patrols in Castle Gardens, a location that will be a key policing priority for the Riverside Beat throughout the summer months. 🚗 Abandoned Vehicle Seized PCSOs located an abandoned vehicle that had sustained significant damage and was causing an obstruction. The vehicle was subsequently seized and removed. 💬 Early Intervention & Support PC Callum has continued working closely with individuals he manages, identifying support opportunities and helping steer people away from criminality and towards positive outcomes. #Riverside #inyourcommunity #yousaidwedid
