Dear Resident
Antisocial Behaviour (ASB) – Understanding ASB, How to Report It, and What Happens Next
Antisocial Behaviour (ASB) is any behaviour that causes harassment, alarm or distress to others. While some incidents may appear minor, persistent ASB can have a significant impact on individuals, families and entire communities.
If you experience or witness antisocial behaviour, please report it. Non-emergency: • Report online via Northamptonshire Police • Contact your local council (or housing provider if appropriate) • Call 101 Emergency: • If a crime is in progress or someone is in immediate danger, always call 999.
• Early intervention • Issuing warnings • Mediation between parties • Providing support • Acceptable Behaviour Contracts (ABCs) • Community Protection Warnings (CPWs) • Community Protection Notices (CPNs) • Criminal Behaviour Orders (CBOs) • Enforcement action where necessary
🌐 Report online: www.northants.police.uk Contact your local council Voice Northamptonshire offers free, confidential support for victims of antisocial behaviour.
