Suspicious Behaviour - Wincheap |
||
|
Dear Resident
We have received reports of four unknown males seen in the Tonford Lane and Ashford Road area of Wincheap during the early hours of the morning over the past few days.
The males have been described as wearing balaclavas and carrying tools that could be used to assist in the theft of motorbikes. As a result of information provided by vigilant members of the community, local officers are conducting enquiries and carrying out additional patrols in the area to identify those involved and prevent further offences.
We are asking residents to remain vigilant and take simple steps to help protect their property, such as ensuring that vehicles and motorbikes are locked, secured, and fitted with additional security devices where possible.
If you see any suspicious behaviour, particularly late at night or in the early hours of the morning, please call 999 immediately so that officers can attend and investigate.
We would also like to hear from anyone who may have CCTV, doorbell camera footage, dashcam footage, or any information that could assist our enquiries.
Thank you to everyone who has already reported information to us. Your support is invaluable, and the information provided by the community is helping us build a clearer picture of what is happening. My colleagues and I are actively working to identify and locate those responsible and will continue to patrol the area to help keep Wincheap safe. | ||
