Dear Residents and Local Businesses,
Here is your weekly update from your local neighbourhood Policing Team, to let you know some of what we've been busy dealing with:
PATROLS Our officers have been carrying out high visible patrols across the area, paying particular attention to areas that have been reported to have had a recent increase in crime or anti-social behaviour.
VEHICLE SEIZURES Two vehicles were recovered after our officers discovered that they had been reported stolen.
VEHICLE CRIME A vehicle was reported stolen from Hermes Crescent between 1st-2nd July 2026. You can find out more about preventing vehicle crime by clicking here : https://www.westmidlands.police.uk/cp/crime-prevention/keeping-vehicles-safe/vehicle-safe-and-sound/ and https://www.westmidlands.police.uk/cp/crime-prevention/keeping-vehicles-safe/preventing-car-vehicle-theft/
OPERATION ADVANCE Officers from the team were involved in various crime prevention initiatives on Tuesday 30th June. As part of the operation we had a team of traffic officers in the area who issued fixed penalties for various offences and also seized two vehicles as they were being driven without insurance on public roads.
PACT (PARTNERS AND COMMUNITIES TOGETHER) MEETINGS We have arranged a PACT meeting for 21/7/26 at 7-8pm. The location for the meeting is : MOAT HOUSE LEISURE CENTRE, Winston Avenue, Coventry, CV2 1EA.
OTHER INFORMATION if you have information about people committing crime that you want to tell us about, you can contact us on the non-emergency telephone number 101. Alternatively, you can contact the CRIMESTOPPERS charity anonymously by calling 0800 555 111. This is a free phone number. CRIMESTOPPERS can also be contacted online here: Independent UK charity taking crime information anonymously | Crimestoppers (crimestoppers-uk.org)
Please do not report crime via WMnow because it is not always monitored.
Kind Regards, The Henley & Longford Neighbourhood Policing Team
