Good afternoon everyone,
I hope you all had a good week.
I wanted to bring you up to date with the patrols that I have been doing this week, along with upcoming events and Police Street Surgeries.
TONIGHT (04/07/26) there will be a Police Street Surgery at Bowmead Cl, 18:45 -1900.
Found bike A resident has found this bike on New Inn Lane near to the Hanford Health Centre.
I am not aware of any reports of any bikes recently reported stolen etc. If you have any information which might help to get the bike back to its owner, please reply to this message and I will be in touch - thank you.
Found Property -Trentham Gardens
We have had property handed in that was from Trentham Gardens on 21/06/26. A bag, which is described as a light coloured rucksack style backpack, along with a mobile phone. If you have any information that might help get property back to its owner, please email lisa.powell@staffordshire.police.uk - thank you
‘We Knocked To Check You Locked’
The two locations I picked randomly for crime prevention visits this week were ‘The Mead’ and ‘Kingside Grove’.
Targeted Patrols
Over the last few days I have completed a number of targeted patrols.
On 02/07/26 I attended Hanford Park in the early evening.
We have had a report of anti-social behaviour here recently, however I am happy to report that during this and other recent patrols I came across no issues. It was also nice to see some new equipment in the park for the kids to use. Hanford Park is a great space for everyone to enjoy and I am determined to keep it that way. If you do come across any issues here, please do report them via 101 (non-emergencies) or 999 (emergencies).
On 02/07/26 I completed a patrol of the canal in the early evening from Windrush Cl to the Longton Rd Bridge, following the report earlier this week of a theft of trainers from a garden on Danebower Rd.
The canal was fairly quiet and I came across no issues.
On 03/07/2026 I attended Burrington Dr and completed a patrol of both the estate and the woods nearby.
Happy to report that I came across no issues here.
Following the patrol of Burrington Dr, I attended the A34, between the Trentham Gardens roundabout and the Monkey Forest to look at the speeding and any anti-social driving etc.
It was quite busy on the road last night but happy to report that I came across no issues.
All of these locations will have repeat patrols in the very near future.
Bereavement Café visit
On 01/07/26 I visited the Bereavement Café, who meet on Wednesdays, 11:45 – 13:00 at the Trentham Parish Church.
I always enjoy visiting this group, saying hello to everyone and talking about a variety of topics from crime prevention to Neighbourhood Watch. If you fancy a hot drink and a chat – this is a great place to visit. Thank you to the group for inviting me – I look forward to seeing you all again very soon!

It will be taking place on 15th August 2026, 10am – 1pm at the Trentham Community Library, Allerton Road.
