Here’s a quick update on anti-social behaviour locally. We know it can be distressing, but we’re working closely with partners to make the area safer and support residents. Recently we have seen a rise in the homeless community within the ward of Forest Hill which can lead to a rise in antisocial behaviour and criminality. In todays age offering money is not always a good thing, because people present as homeless does not mean this is the case along with fuelling potential habits which harm the individual and the community it can encourage people to remain on the streets.
Whilst there is potential for criminality and antisocial behaviour the primary thought/concern is and should be Vulnerability.

Across London we’ve put hundreds more officers on the frontlines of community crime-fighting teams, upping visible patrols in the right ‘hot spots’ so we can deter and catch criminals - including with new tech like live facial recognition cameras, drones and e-bikes. Antisocial behaviour can come in many forms and can require support from more organisations than just the police.
