Community Update: Kersey Gardens and surrounding area

Dear Residents,

We would like to inform you about recent police activity that took place in the area.

Yesterday, the local policing team, alongside the local councillor, attended a residents' meeting on Kersey Gardens to discuss concerns regarding ongoing nuisance behaviour and anti-social behaviour involving local kids/youths in the surrounding area.

Following the meeting, officers conducted letter drops and carried out, door-to-door enquiries with residents. Reassurance was provided, along with crime prevention advice, to many members of the local community.

Officers also engaged with local children and young people, providing advice and education regarding anti-social behaviour and the impact it can have on residents and the wider community. Following this engagement, the youths dispersed from the location.

We will continue to monitor the area and work with residents and partner agencies to address any concerns.
