✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅

PCSO'S and Dedicated neighbourhood Officer have conducted joint partnership working with Walsall Council Community Protection Team and Walsall council's Clean and Green, whereby rough sleepers had set up an encampment and from intel received, the rough sleepers had been causing ASB with drug related issues and fly tipping at the location. Two rough sleepers were sensitively requested to move from the location and appropriate action was taken to dismantle the encampment and tidy up the location.

Patrols have been conducted in Walsall Arboretum due to the warmer weather and more people using the facilities.

A number of stop searches have been made in Town Centre following intel of drug dealing in the area.

As a Neighbourhood Team this week we have been focusing on ASB Awareness Week and have conducted high visibility patrols to known areas of ASB which have included Park Street, Walsall Arboretum, Chuckery and Caldmore Green.

Officers have been working alongside members of the community who take time out of their busy lives and take part in Streetwatch patrols, these patrols have taken place in Caldmore Green and Rushall Hall which includes Melish Road and the surrounding estates.

There was a pre-planned Speedwatch Operation with community volunteers on Birmingham Road and another on Melish Road, whereby a number of vehicles will be dealt with appropriately.

There have been a number of crime prevention advice surgeries held with local PCSO'S which have been located at The Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara, Boots Park Street and the Community Hub at Walsall Bus Station, where members of the public have attended and had the opportunity to speak with officers and been given advice and reassurance.
