Bike thefts - Meir

Staffordshire Police are urging all members of the public to remain vigilant after an increased spike of attempted and successful motorbike thefts in the area of Meir between 03/07/2026 and 05/07/2026. 

We are keen to here from any members of the pubic who may have CCTV or witnessed any such activity taking place in the Meir area, particularly Falcon Road, Broadway, Pinewood Crescent and other surrounding streets. If you believe you have any evidence or that you also maybe a victim then please make contact with police. 

If yourself or someone you know owns a motorbike, please take all necessary precautions to negate ay risk of becoming a victim. 

At this time we are urging all motorbike owners to keep their bikes secured inside behind locked doors whenever possible. Consider investing in CCTV, bike alarms, anti cut security chains to make your bike as safe as possible. Keep keys out of sight and make sure your properties are fully secure when unoccupied and at night. 

Staffordshire police are making continued efforts to tackle motorbike crime and with your help we ca reduce the number of victims of motorbike crime.
