Fake £20 notes

Local residents and businesses are being urged to stay vigilant after reports of fake £20 notes are being used within Padiham. Please take an extra few minutes to check all £20 notes before accepting them, especially during busy periods. If you suspect the note to be counterfeit, do not return it to the customer. Follow your business procedures and report any incidents to the police if appropriate.
